What counts as a new home?

FAQ
Can I claim both the grant and duty exemption?
Yes, you can receive both the FHOG ($15,000-$30,000) and the stamp duty exemption if you meet the eligibility criteria for each.
What if I buy above $800,000 established?
You won't receive any first home concession, but you'll still get the home concession rate (lower than investor rates) if you're living in the property.
